Thus, no extra action needs to be taken on the sheep to obtain lanolin. It is a natural component of the wool that is recovered during the processing and given a new purpose in skin care.

Lanolin has the same structure as our own sebum. Sebum has a protective effect and prevents dehydration of the skin and hair. The power of lanolin lies in how it works with the skin.
