What is Lanolin?

Lanolin is a natural product. Lanolin is wool fat that is naturally present in sheep's wool. This oily substance keeps the wool supple and protects the sheep against cold, wind and rain. Texelana processes the lanolin in its care products; in this way no valuable product is lost after washing the wool.

Lanolin nourishes, protects and has a soothing effect.

From lanolin to cream

The sheep are sheared every summer. The shorn wool is then mildly cleaned and then the lanolin remains. After an intensive cleaning procedure, we process the lanolin into high-quality creams, detergents and other care products. The intensively nourishing lanolin is the ideal remedy for (problem) skin. Lanolin nourishes, cares for and makes the skin soft and supple.

What can lanolin be used for?

The intensively nourishing lanolin is a solution for:

• chilblains and chilblains
• rough skin

• cracked nipples

• sensitive baby skin

Pure Lanolin is a fairly tough substance and you only need a little of it. It is a 100% natural product without chemicals, and therefore also suitable for sensitive skin.

Origin

Since Texelana has no production capacity on Texel, our lanolin care products are produced elsewhere in the Benelux.

From a hygienic point of view, we cannot take back lanolin care products.
