Washing instructions

Wool is a great material for making clothes because it is antibacterial and odor resistant. Woolen clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you still want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent . Never rub hard when washing by hand to prevent felting. Always look at the label in the garment for washing instructions. Always let woolen clothing lie flat to dry.

Treating your woolen garment in this way will not only make it more beautiful and last longer. By airing instead of washing you also save the environment.

About Norlender

Norlender is a family business, founded by Ola Tveiten in 1927. Since then, the family has produced everything from cotton underwear to traditional knitted wool sweaters. Today, the factory in Hosanger on Osterøy is run by the third and fourth generations of Tveiten with the aim of continuing their Norwegian knitting traditions and ensuring sustainable textile production in Norway in the future.

Norlender is one of the few textile manufacturers in Norway. They are proud to offer a completely Norwegian product, knitted and sewn in Western Norway with Norwegian wool. Today, most of the collection is produced in the historic knitting factory on Osterøy, outside Bergen. Everything with the Made in Norway label is both knitted and sewn here. Parts of the collection that they cannot produce themselves are now knitted and sewn in cooperative factories in the Baltic states.
