Description

Thin socks with merino wool

The classic wool sock from Ivanhoe Knitted in Sweden!

This thin wool sock is a perfect choice because the wool regulates heat; it warms when it's cold and breathes when it's warm. The sock has extra reinforcement at the heel and toe. And because wool is a delicate fiber, Ivanhoe Knitted in Sweden has reinforced it by blending it with polyamide. The Lycra® provides a beautiful and comfortable stretch. A very pleasant and comfortable pair of socks!

Specifications & material

  • 90% merinowol, 5% polyamide, 5% lycra
  • Effen geverfd
  • De gebruikte merinowol is 100% mulesingvrij
  • Gemaakt in Zweden

Care

Thin socks with merino wool

The classic woolen sock from Ivanhoe Knitted in Sweden!

This thin wool sock is a perfect choice because the wool regulates heat; it warms when it's cold and breathes when it's hot. The sock has an extra reinforcement on the heel and toe. And because wool is a fragile fibre, Ivanhoe Knitted in Sweden has strengthened it by mixing the wool with polyamide. The Lycra® gives a nice and comfortable stretch. A very nice and comfortable pair of socks!

  • 90% merino wool, 5% polyamide, 5% lycra
  • Plain painted
  • The merino wool used is 100% mulesing-free
  • Made in Sweden
  • For washing instructions, always check the label inside the garment

Washing instructions

Wool is antibacterial and odor resistant. Woolen clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Occasionally hang the garment outside to air it out to freshen it up. If you still want to wash the garment, we recommend the Texelana Wool Detergent .

Look for washing instructions on the label in the garment. Many of our woolen clothes can be washed in the washing machine on a wool wash program of up to 30°C. Then lay flat to dry. When hand washing, never rub hard to avoid felting.

If you treat your wool garment as described above, it will not only stay nicer and last longer; you also save the environment by airing instead of washing.

About Ivanhoe

The family business Ivanhoe was founded in 1946 in Gällstad, a district known as Sweden's knitting center and where tradition and entrepreneurial spirit still live on. Several generations of experience and craftsmanship result in the continuous development of basic and functional clothing. The classic materials such as wool and cotton can always be found in the collections, but they also work with new blends, treatments or knitting and weaving techniques.
