What is the underblanket made of?

Our sheep's wool underblanket is characterized by its unique filling: 100% pure new wool (500 g/m²). This wool is naturally very frizzy, creating a resilient layer with insulating properties. This keeps you comfortably warm and dry in cold weather, and provides moisture-regulating comfort on warmer days. The top layer is made of Wolborg: 100% pure new wool, knitted into a jersey (500 g/m²). The jersey is made of cotton/polyester. The underside is made of 100% soft cotton. This combination of materials creates a wonderfully soft, breathable top layer for your mattress.

Usage

The underblanket has elastic corners. These can be attached to the mattress, ensuring it stays securely in place. We recommend placing the underblanket with the wool side facing up on the mattress and covering it with a mattress protector and a fitted sheet. Please note that it is not machine washable. Any stains can be removed with a cloth and lukewarm soapy water. Regular airing is recommended. Thorough cleaning is not necessary with normal use, but can be dry-cleaned if necessary.

Available sizes

The underblanket is available in all common mattress sizes. To find the right size, choose the same size as your mattress. Custom-made items cannot be returned.

Please note that machine washing is not possible. Any stains can be removed with a cloth and lukewarm soapy water. Regular airing is recommended. Thorough cleaning is not necessary with normal use, but can be dry-cleaned if necessary.
