Sizing advice

Sizing advice*: your normal shoe size +1.
The Frida sheepskin slippers are a bit smaller. We therefore recommend one size bigger than your regular shoe size. If you have a half size, round up and follow the sizing guide.Example: You wear size 38.5. Round this up to size 39. Follow the sizing advice +1 to order the slipper in size 40.

Are you unsure about the size? Please feel free to contact our customer service, we are happy to help you.
*Size advice is not a size guarantee.

The unique properties of sheep's wool are most effective when you wear the right size slippers. This means there should be sufficient space between the skin of your foot and the slipper, creating a layer of air. This retains heat and allows perspiration to escape easily, ensuring a pleasantly dry feeling.

Although sheepskin is soft and supple, it is more fragile than, for example, cowhide. If sheepskin slippers are purchased too small, pressure points can develop. The product may wear out or tear more quickly.

Specifications & material

  • Made from reversed merino sheepskin; soft fleece on the inside and supple sheepskin on the outside.
  • Reinforced heel and sole made of flexible rubber.
  • Normal entry.
  • These slippers run small, see below for sizing advice.

What is the Frida slipper made of?

Slippers endure a lot and therefore deserve high-quality materials. Merino sheepskin is ideal for the production of these sheepskin slippers. This ensures warm and dry feet. Wool regulates moisture, breathes well, and retains heat optimally. A nice bonus is that the lanolin in wool (wool fat) makes your feet wonderfully soft. So feel free to wear these slippers barefoot.

Care

Maintenance tip

To preserve your sheepskin slippers, we recommend spraying them with a protective spray (not mousse) before first use and regularly thereafter. This protects the product from water and dirt. We recommend using Collonil Active Universal protector Please note: sheepskin products cannot be washed!

Sizing advice

The unique effect of sheep's wool comes into its own when you wear the right size slippers. This means that there must be sufficient space between the skin of your foot and the slipper, so that a layer of air is created. This retains heat and perspiration can easily be drained outside. This provides a pleasantly dry feeling.

Although sheepskin is soft and supple, it is more vulnerable than, for example, cowhide leather. If the sheepskin slippers are purchased too small, pressure points may arise. The product may wear or tear sooner.
