Sizing advice

  • Sizing advice*: your normal shoe size +2.Due to the slanted toe, these slippers run a bit small. If you have a half shoe size, round it down and then follow the sizing guide. More information is available below. Not sure about your size? Feel free to contact our customer service We're happy to help. *Sizing advice is not a size guarantee.

Additional explanation:

The unique properties of sheep's wool are most effective when you wear the right size slippers. This means there should be sufficient space between the skin of your foot and the slipper, creating a layer of air. This retains heat and allows perspiration to escape easily, ensuring a pleasantly dry feeling.

Although sheepskin is soft and supple, it is more fragile than, for example, cowhide. If sheepskin slippers are purchased too small, pressure points can develop. The product may wear out or tear more quickly.

The Pippa sheepskin slippers are a bit smaller. We therefore recommend ordering two sizes bigger than your regular shoe size. If you have a half size, round it down and then follow the sizing guide.Example: You wear size 38.5. Round this down to size 38. Follow the sizing advice +2, and you'll order the slipper in size 40.

Specifications & material

  • Made from reverse sheepskin; soft fleece on the inside and supple sheepskin on the outside.
  • Rubber sole with a ribbed pattern.
  • The fur edge reaches the ankles.
  • The folded-over fur edge is not meant to be worn up. The suede on the shaft is sometimes darker or lighter than the slipper itself.

What is the Pippa slipper made of?

To give your feet the warmth and love they deserve, Pippa sheepskin slippers are made of high-quality sheepskin. This material offers three unique advantages:

  • Comfortable. Because of the sheepskin inside out, you feel the wonderfully soft fur against your skin. The sheepskin on the outside is supple and soft in texture. This combination makes the slippers extremely comfortable.
  • Temperature and moisture regulating. Sheep's wool breathes and ventilates well. This way, you'll always experience the ideal temperature, even on warmer days. Wool also absorbs moisture well. Feel free to wear the slippers without socks.
  • Nourishing. Wool naturally contains wool fat, also known as lanolin. This remains in the wool after tanning, caring for your feet while you wear it.

Maintenance

Maintenance tip

To preserve your sheepskin slippers, we recommend spraying them with a protective spray (not mousse) before first use and regularly thereafter. This protects the product from water and dirt. We recommend using Collonil Active Universal protector Please note: sheepskin products cannot be washed.
