Soft wool cardigan with zipper - unisex
This trendy and comfortable cardigan is made from Gällstad Teddy: a new quality of boiled wool with a soft, fluffy teddy texture. The Teddy-like fabric is combined with beautiful details to elevate the whole. The jacket has zippered pockets and finished edges for an extra stylish accent.
The Gällstad Teddy fabric is part of the special 1946 anniversary collection, which brings together craftsmanship, wool, and contemporary Scandinavian design.

Washing instructions
Wool is a great material for clothing because it is antibacterial and odor-resistant. Wool clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to air it out. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent. When hand washing, never rub hard to prevent felting. Always check the label in the garment for washing instructions. Always lay wool clothing flat to dry.
If you treat your wool garment this way, it will not only stay beautiful longer and last longer. Airing instead of washing also helps the environment.
Pilling and lint
Wool can pill or fuzz with use. This has nothing to do with the quality of the wool. Pilling is a natural phenomenon that mainly occurs due to friction. Wool consists of many hairs with a natural crimp (curls). Due to friction, the wool can pill and felt. When felting, the hairs join together due to friction. In fact, every movement causes friction. You will often find the lint/pills on the sleeves and under the armpits.
With new clothing, there may sometimes still be some loose hairs left after the weaving and knitting process.
Pilling and lint on your beautiful (merino) wool clothing cannot be prevented. We have some tips to somewhat delay this process and how to remove the lint and pills. For this information, we refer you to our blog.
