The Balaclava 400 is a warm, comfortable hat made of 60% merino wool. The interior features soft loops for extra insulation. The blend of merino wool and synthetic fibers makes the balaclava odor-resistant, durable, and quick-drying.

The balaclava has one opening. The bottom can be worn over the nose or under the chin, depending on the temperature and preference. Flat seams prevent chafing, making the balaclava perfect for wearing under a helmet.

Wool is a great material for clothing because it's antibacterial and odor-resistant. Therefore, wool clothing doesn't need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent When hand-washing, never rub vigorously to prevent felting. Always check the garment's care label for washing instructions. Always dry woolen clothing flat.

Treating your wool garment this way will not only keep it looking better and make it last longer, but by airing it out instead of washing it, you'll also help the environment.
