Wool detergent

Wool detergent has been specially developed for the gentle cleaning of wool. Wool fibers have a different structure than, for example, cotton and require mild treatment. A suitable wool detergent helps keep the wool clean, soft, and pleasant to the touch.

Lanolin is the natural wool grease found in sheep's wool. During the processing and washing of wool, some of this natural wool grease can be lost. Wool detergent with lanolin combines mild cleaning with conditioning and helps prevent wool from feeling unnecessarily dry or stiff. The lanolin helps to preserve the natural properties of the wool, ensuring it remains soft and pleasant to the touch.

Wool detergent can be used for many washable wool garments and accessories, such as sweaters, cardigans, socks, hats, and other wool products. Always check the care label before washing, as not every wool product can be washed in the same way.

Some wool products are machine washable, but only if the care label permits it. Use a suitable wool or delicates cycle, a low temperature, and wool detergent. Wool that is not suitable for the washing machine can be hand-washed according to the care instructions or professionally cleaned.

Always follow the temperature on the care label. Much washable wool is washed at a low temperature. Not only a temperature that is too high, but also sharp temperature fluctuations and a lot of friction can be detrimental to wool.

Handle wool with care and avoid high temperatures, strong temperature fluctuations, and excessive friction. Use a suitable wool detergent and select the wash program recommended on the care label. After washing, preferably leave wool garments to dry flat in shape if the care instructions indicate so.

For wool, it is best not to use regular fabric softener, unless the care instructions indicate otherwise. With a suitable wool detergent containing lanolin, you provide the wool with a mild cleaning and care that suits the material while washing.

Woolen clothing usually does not need to be washed after every wear. Wool can often simply be refreshed by airing out the garment well. Only wash when necessary. This puts less strain on the wool fibers and keeps your woolen clothing looking good for longer.

Only wash wool when necessary, air out clothing regularly, and always follow the care label. When washing, use a suitable wool detergent, avoid unnecessarily high temperatures, and handle wet wool with care. This gives natural wool fibers the care they need.
