Wool-lined slippers have a soft, warm layer of wool on the inside. This thick lining takes up extra space, which means the slippers may fit differently from regular shoes. That is why we sometimes recommend choosing a larger size.
It is important not to buy sheepskin products too small. There are several reasons for this:
Optimal insulation. The naturally crimped wool fibres trap an insulating layer of air. This helps keep your feet comfortably warm when it is cold, while the wool helps regulate temperature in warmer conditions.
Longer lifespan. Sheepskin leather is soft and flexible. If a slipper is too tight, extra tension and pressure points can develop in the leather, which may cause it to wear more quickly.
Moisture-regulating comfort. Wool can absorb and release moisture. It needs sufficient space to maintain these natural properties.
Greater comfort. Your toes have enough room to move, making the slippers more comfortable to wear.
Extra tips
✔ Measure both feet. If one foot is larger than the other, use the measurement of the larger foot.
✔ Ideally, measure your feet at the end of the day. Your feet may be slightly larger by then, reducing the chance of choosing a size that is too small.
✔ When measuring, wear the socks you would normally wear with your slippers, if applicable.

Soft slippers made of pure sheep's wool
Warm, soft sheep's wool slip-on slippers for moments of pure relaxation. Perfect for lounging on the sofa or curling up under a cosy blanket. Their comfort is comparable to that of a thick, warm sock: soft, lightweight and pleasantly warm. Available in a range of beautiful colours.
Good to know: Both the wool borg and the sole are made from soft materials. Daily wear and friction will gradually cause the wool fibres and sole to wear over time. How quickly this happens depends largely on how the slippers are used and the type of flooring. For example, wear will occur more quickly on a rough tiled floor than on a soft carpeted surface.
Specificaties & materiaal
Material: sheep's wool, knitted-in jersey (polyester)
Equipped with a soft sole with rubber studs
Depending on the dye bath, the color of the slippers may sometimes differ slightly from the color in the photo. If you have any doubts, you can always contact us and we will take a look with you.
Usage
These Yoko slippers are great for the couch, can be used as a kind of thick socks. Are you looking for slippers to walk in all day? Then we advise you to look at our sheepskin or wool felt slippers, for example from Haflinger or Glerups .
Material
These sheep's wool slippers are made from woolborg. Wolborg is wool knitted into jersey. Irish sheep's wool was used for this. Wolborg slippers are more sensitive to wear than sheepskin slippers. Friction (particularly under the foot) can loosen the wool hairs, causing abrasions. This is very normal and the process takes place at varying speeds.
Just like socks, the lifespan of these slippers also depends on the type of floor they walk on. For example, on a rough tile floor, the studs and wool will wear out faster than on a smooth PVC floor.
Pleasant comfort
Slippers made from natural materials such as sheep's wool can be worn all year round. This is due to the many benefits of this beautiful product. Sheep wool has a moisture-regulating, breathable effect and has the natural property that it can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. You can wear these sheepskin slippers with bare feet.
Gentle wash on a wool cycle at max. 30°C with wool detergent This is only necessary to a limited extent, as wool is naturally self-cleaning; a quick airing is often sufficient. Washing is at your own risk.
Warm, soft sheep's wool slippers for a nice relaxing moment. Nice for on the couch, cozy under a warm blanket. Available in various beautiful colours.
Sizing advice: your normal shoe size. For half sizes: +0.5. Example: do you have a size 40? Then we recommend size 39/40. Do you have size 40.5? Then we recommend size 41/42.
Material: sheep's wool, knitted-in jersey (polyester)
Equipped with a soft sole with rubber studs
Washable at 30°C wool wash program
