Wool-lined slippers have a soft, warm layer of wool on the inside. This thick lining takes up extra space, which means the slippers may fit differently from regular shoes. That is why we sometimes recommend choosing a larger size.
It is important not to buy sheepskin products too small. There are several reasons for this:
Optimal insulation. The naturally crimped wool fibres trap an insulating layer of air. This helps keep your feet comfortably warm when it is cold, while the wool helps regulate temperature in warmer conditions.
Longer lifespan. Sheepskin leather is soft and flexible. If a slipper is too tight, extra tension and pressure points can develop in the leather, which may cause it to wear more quickly.
Moisture-regulating comfort. Wool can absorb and release moisture. It needs sufficient space to maintain these natural properties.
Greater comfort. Your toes have enough room to move, making the slippers more comfortable to wear.
Extra tips
✔ Measure both feet. If one foot is larger than the other, use the measurement of the larger foot.
✔ Ideally, measure your feet at the end of the day. Your feet may be slightly larger by then, reducing the chance of choosing a size that is too small.
✔ When measuring, wear the socks you would normally wear with your slippers, if applicable.

Sheep wool boot
After a long day, few things feel better than taking off your shoes and sinking your feet into soft sheep's wool. The Yoko Wool slipper boot is made for exactly those moments. Lightweight, wonderfully warm and as comfortable as a thick woollen sock, with the convenience of a slipper.
The high-cut design helps keep not only your feet but also your ankles pleasantly warm. Perfect for relaxing on the sofa, working from home or enjoying cosy evenings indoors.
Good to know: Both the wool borg and the soft sole are relatively soft materials. Daily wear and friction will gradually cause the wool fibres and sole to wear over time. How quickly this happens depends largely on how the slippers are used and the type of flooring. For example, wear will occur more quickly on a rough tiled floor than on a soft carpeted surface.
Specificaties & materiaal
The anthracite color can sometimes be slightly lighter or darker than in the photo.
Material: sheep's wool, knitted into jersey (polyester)
The sole is soft and flexible and has rubber studs.
Just like socks, the lifespan of these slippers depends on the type of floor they're walking on. For example, on a rough tile floor, the studs and wool will wear out faster than on a smooth PVC floor.
Usage
These Yoko boots are great for lounging on the couch, like thick socks. Looking for slippers to walk in all day? Then we recommend checking out our sheepskin slippers or from wool felt, for example from Haflinger or Glerups.
What is wolborg?
Wolborg is made from wool woven into a jersey knit. This creates a material that is strong, soft, and warm.
Slippers made of wool are cheaper, but also more susceptible to wear than sheepskin slippers. Friction (especially underfoot) can loosen the wool hairs, causing worn spots. This process varies in speed, but in some cases can occur within a few months.

Pleasant comfort
The great advantage of slippers made from natural materials like sheep's wool is that they keep your feet wonderfully warm. Sheep's wool is moisture-regulating and breathable, and has the natural ability to absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. You can wear Wolborg slippers barefoot.

Size advice : these slippers are quite spacious. However, you don't have to buy a size smaller. For example, with a normal shoe size 41 you can choose size 41/42.
