Wool is a fine material for clothing because it is antibacterial and odor-resistant. Therefore, wool clothing does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent. When hand washing, never rub hard to prevent felting. Always check the label in the garment for washing instructions. Always let wool clothing dry flat.

If you treat your wool clothing this way, it will not only stay looking better and last longer. By airing instead of washing, you also protect the environment.

Storing wool clothing

We advise you to store your wool clothing clean, possibly with a sachet of lavender; this keeps moths at bay. It is also best to store wool clothing flat, so that the elasticity of the wool is not affected.
