Care

Wool is a great material for clothing because it is antibacterial and odor-resistant. Woolen clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent. When hand washing, never rub hard to prevent felting. Always check the label in the garment for washing instructions. Always dry wool clothing flat.

Planet Wool originated from a Dutch initiative in 2015, after the earthquakes in Nepal. For each product sold, one Euro is donated to a good cause in Nepal, which is the Nepal Foundation. Through them, we donate to various charities. Since 2015, Planet Wool has donated a total of approximately 100,000 euros to charities.

The headbands and hats are handmade in Nepal, under good working conditions. The wool comes from small farmers in Australia, Ireland, and England.
