Rugged men's sweater made of 100% wool
Stylish sweater made of 100% wool, knitted in a beautiful waffle stitch. The cuffs and collar are rib-knitted. The structure of the waffle stitch creates an air layer that provides extra insulation. It also gives the sweater a rugged, sporty look without appearing too coarse. A wonderful sweater for a walk, but also warm and comfortable on a cool summer evening on the terrace. Of course, it is also perfectly suitable for women!
- Material: 100% wool
- Finish: the collar and cuffs are rib-knitted
- Detail: Ivanhoe logo on the left sleeve.

Washing instructions
Wool is a great material for clothing because it is antibacterial and odor-resistant. Therefore, wool clothing does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent. When hand washing, never rub hard to prevent felting. Always check the label in the garment for washing instructions. Always lay wool clothing flat to dry.
If you treat your wool garment this way, it will not only look better and last longer. Airing instead of washing also helps the environment.
Storing wool clothing
We advise you to store your wool clothing clean, possibly with a sachet of lavender; this keeps moths away. It is also best to store wool clothing flat, so that the elasticity of the wool is not affected.
Pilling and lint
Wool can pill or lint with use. This has nothing to do with the quality of the wool. Pilling is a natural phenomenon that mainly occurs due to friction. Wool consists of many hairs with a natural crimp (curls). Friction can cause the wool to pill and felt. When felting, the hairs join together due to friction. In fact, every movement causes friction. You will therefore often find lint/pills on the sleeves and under the armpits.
With new clothing, some loose hairs may sometimes have remained after the weaving and knitting process.
Pilling and lint on your beautiful (merino) wool clothing cannot be prevented, unfortunately. We have some tips to somewhat delay this process and how to remove lint and pills. For this information, please refer to our blog.
About Ivanhoe of Sweden
The family business Ivanhoe was founded in 1946 in Gällstad, a district known as Sweden's knitting center where tradition and entrepreneurial spirit still thrive. Generations of experience and competence result in the continuous development of basic and functional clothing. Classic materials such as wool and cotton are always found in the collections, but they also work with new blends, treatments, or knitting and weaving techniques.
