Washing instructions
Wool is an excellent material for clothing because it is antibacterial and odor-resistant. Therefore, wool clothing does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent. When handwashing, never rub vigorously to prevent felting. Always check the label inside the garment for specific washing instructions. Always lay wool clothing flat to dry.
If you treat your wool garment in this way, it will not only stay looking better and last longer. By airing instead of washing, you also help the environment.
About Ivanhoe of Sweden
The family business Ivanhoe was founded in 1946 in Gällstad, a district known as Sweden's knitting center, where tradition and entrepreneurial spirit still thrive. Generations of experience and expertise result in the continuous development of basic and functional clothing. Classic materials such as wool and cotton are always found in the collections, but they also work with new blends, treatments, or knitting and weaving techniques.
