Irish knitting wool made of 100% Donegal Tweed yarn
Create your own sweater, cardigan, or scarf with this beautiful wool. The tweed yarn creates a variegated color scheme because it consists of fibers in different colors spun together. This creates a playful, irregular color gradient with small speckles and accents in multiple shades. Tweed yarn gives a classic, natural look.

Before you order
Always order enough yarn to avoid having to reorder later and possibly experiencing color discrepancies. Not sure how much yarn you need? Our blog "Knitting Yourself" offers some guidelines and tips.
Washing instructions for woolen clothing
Wool is a great material for clothing because it's antibacterial and odor-resistant. Therefore, wool clothing doesn't need to be washed often. Hang it outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash it, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent . When hand-washing, never rub vigorously to prevent felting. Always check the garment's care label for washing instructions. Always dry wool clothing flat.
Treating your wool garment this way will not only keep it looking better and make it last longer, but by airing it out instead of washing it, you'll also help the environment.
