Wool is a great material because it's antibacterial and odor-resistant. Wool products don't need to be washed often. Hang the product outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you do want to wash the blanket, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent. Never rub hard when hand washing to prevent felting. Always check the garment's label for washing instructions. Always leave wool items drying lying down.

Treating your woolen product this way will not only keep it looking better and make it last longer, but by airing it out instead of washing it, you'll also help the environment.

Storing wool products

We recommend storing your wool products clean, perhaps with a lavender sachet; this will keep moths at bay. It's also best to store wool clothing flat to prevent damage to the wool's elasticity.
